We spent a delightful afternoon with these two love birds at the Adamson Beachhouse in Malibu. The atmosphere was just perfect and the couple were so easy and natural to work with. They are getting married in April and we can't wait to see what their wedding day will be like.
Was so happy with this engagement session. Everything went well beyond what I had planned. The weather was perfect, the lighting was just right, the place was beautiful and so accessable and easy to get to. The couple and the parents were beautiful and so easy to work with. It was a really pleasant experience all and all and made me love what I do even more.
Can you tell how much these two are in love? We shot this engagement session at 7:00 am in downtown L.A. It takes a true comittment to each other to pull this off in these kind of circumstances. I'd say they will probably be this cuddly till they are seventy. Congrats Donna and Josh.
These two love birds are the poster children of modern day immigrants success story who came and conquer the American dream with their brains and education. Amish is an executive with an MBA working at a consulting firm who has been with his girlfiend for quite sometimes The whole event was planned out way in advance to be a surprise marriage proposal for his girlfriend. So, the plan was to have all their friends and family flying in from all over the places for Amish'es birthday and he would then propose to her on Santa Monica beach. It was supposed to be a surpised marriage proposal but how can you not know if you are that connected and have been living together for as long as they do. To no surprise, the surprise proposal wasn't so surprising for the bride to be but it was a very nice gesture on the guy's part and he deserved a big kudos for the effort.
I made a concious decision to shoot this in a photojournalism style where everyone were shot in their natural state of happiness and joyful for the occasion. At the end it has a different look and feel to the album. Let me know what you think and best wishes for the bride and groom to be. I hope to see you at the ceremony.
Started off as what supposed to be just a simple gay wedding, it turned into a porject of passion to us. Jannay and Danielle love sotry was so inspiring and heartfelt that we decided to make a documentary. It's a journey of one determined soul to find the true meaning of life. Through loss and heartache Jannay and Denielle found each other and the rest is a love story that inspires every heart and sould it touches. We are truely honored to be brought into their lives and cannot wait to be there to witness the next big chapter in their lives. The wedding date is set on January 24, 2015 We'll be there to document one of the most loving and kind souls union.
Pao was a recent Phd graduate from USC school of Economics. He met Phung, also a recent USC alumn, during their school years on campus and became unseparable since. It was a long and difficult journey for Pao to earn his Phd and Phung was by his side all the way, even fly back to be with Pao during his most difficult time when he decided to quit his dream. It was obvious how in love they are while taking these photos. I knew it right then that it's gonna be a beautiful work not because of all the beautiful locations but by the way they are as a couple. I truely am happy for them and Thailand is lucky to have Pao back as a valuable human resource. I wish them the best of luck and an eternal life of happiness.
Pam and Top met in college back when they were undergraduate students. Pam was a freshmen medical student but later switched to accounting at the business school. Top was attending the school of engineering at the same university. They both met at a band rehearsal and from then friendship slowly blossomed into a relationship that you can tell will last their life time. It is quite apparrent from the way they are together that they are true soulmates. We've become friends during the preparation for the shoot. Top is also an excellent photographer and both of them are extronidary human beings. I feel very priviledged to have them in my life and that's why I love what I do. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives' milestone.
